A high school student, Daverius Peters, almost missed his graduation due to an alleged dress code violation. He arrived at the ceremony wearing a pair of Alexander McQueen black leather sneakers with white soles, which resulted in a school employee stopping him at the door.
Luckily, his teacher came to his rescue, taking off his size 11 shoes and lending them to the student, even though they were two sizes too big. With only a few minutes to spare before the ceremony began, Daverius graciously accepted the teacher’s offer.
The student was touched by the kind gesture, and even asked the teacher how he was going to watch his own daughter graduate without shoes. In the end, Daverius was able to walk across the stage and receive his diploma thanks to the selfless act of his teacher.
