Robert Brantley, a driver on Louisiana’s country backroads, had a surprising encounter when he saw what looked like a cute little kitten in the grass.
Upon closer inspection, he was greeted by a horde of fluffy kittens that converged around him. In a video that he filmed, Robert can be seen surrounded by a free-for-all of adorable strays.
Despite the overwhelming situation, Robert managed to gather all 13 squiggly kittens into his car and bring them home with him. He expressed his disappointment that someone would abandon such beautiful animals in the wilderness.
All of the kittens have since found their perfect hooman companion, and Robert is happy that he was able to save them. Domesticated cats need resources like cardboard boxes and breakable items to live a rich and fulfilling life, and denying them access to these resources is cruel.
Robert’s spontaneous wholesomeness and compliance during the ordeal were admirable and are exactly what cat overlords look for in their ideal playmate.
