Mexican girl Adhara Pérez is widely known for her remarkable IQ of 162, two points higher than famous physicists Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.
At just three years old, Adhara was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder that can cause difficulty with social interaction and rigid thinking patterns.
Due to bullying at school, Adhara decided to stop attending and became depressed and traumatized. However, her mother recognized Adhara’s exceptional intelligence and enrolled her in a school for gifted children.

Adhara excelled academically and finished elementary, middle, and high school at the ages of 5, 6, and 8, respectively. Adhara is currently pursuing two online degrees in Industrial Engineering in Mathematics and Systems Engineering and hopes to become a NASA astronaut.
She also wants to make science more inclusive for girls and advocate for boys with autism. Adhara’s memoir, “Don’t Give Up,” details her experiences and aims to inspire others. Let Adhara’s story be a reminder to never judge someone based on their appearance or special needs.
