An Arizona grandmother and her grandson, Gretchen Caiazzo and 14-year-old Cole, were enjoying a dinner date together in Chandler when they received an unexpected act of kindness from two strangers.
As they reminisced and created new memories, they had no idea that a wonderful surprise was on its way. When it came time to pay, they were told that their meal had already been paid for by a couple they didn’t know.
The couple had also left a letter expressing their appreciation for the tender moment that Gretchen and Cole were sharing and the importance of creating memories with loved ones.
Cole’s father shared the letter on social media, expressing his gratitude for the random act of kindness and the beauty and compassion that still exists.
