Unfortunately, not all dogs are fortunate enough to experience such kindness. Fallon Marie, a 31-pound dog, was abandoned by her owners with a heavy chain around her neck, leaving her unable to run and play.
Fortunately, the compassionate rescuers from Stray Rescue of St. Louis found her and helped her regain her freedom. It took some time to win her trust, but they eventually coaxed her into their vehicle and removed the 10-pound chain from her neck. Finally free, Fallon Marie was welcomed into the shelter as part of their family.
Dogs like Fallon Marie should not be treated as prisoners but as our friends and companions, deserving of our love and attention. Let’s ensure that they live a happy and healthy life, free to run and play outside our homes. The kind rescuers who helped Fallon Marie did a wonderful job, and seeing her happy and thriving is truly heartwarming.
