Subway Sally is a homeless dog who has figured out a way to get a delicious meal delivered to her every night. She shows up at a popular chain sandwich shop, where the staff feeds her all her favorite meaty fixings. According to Giovanni Luhman, who posted a viral TikTok video about Sally, she has been showing up on their front doorstep every night for an entire year.
Gio, one of the employees, piles her plate high with turkey meat, ham, chicken, and bacon slices, which she eagerly devours. Sally even has Gio trained to give her all her favorite toppings.
While some people have suggested taking Sally home, Gio already has five cats and many strays in his town need help. He promises to take care of Sally for as long as he can, and is even starting a local pet food drive to help low-income families feed their pets.
Despite having had four litters of puppies in the past year, Sally seems content to stay on the streets where she is safer than in a high-kill-rate shelter.
