Angelina Jolie, mother of six, revealed that she recognizes her children’s backgrounds and that the phrases “adoption” and “orphanage” are good in their family.
In a June 2020 interview, the A-list actress opened up about her adoption experience. Pax, Maddox, and Zahara are three of her adoptive children.

Each procedure, according to Jolie, was a “wonderful way of forming a family,” with the essential part being freely speaking about the experience and sharing more about the journey.
The loving mother said she can’t talk to her adopted children about being pregnant, but she can talk about how she got them into her life and what it was like to meet them for the first time.
Adopted children come into a household with “a lovely mystery of a world” that is quite different from their adoptive parents’ reality.

The Oscar winner noted that this is especially true for people of diverse races and nationalities because “that mystery of that gift is so complete.”
Adoptive parents, according to Hollywood’s leading woman, should not allow their children to lose their feeling of authenticity about their origins, adding,
“They have roots you don’t.” Respect them. Learn from their mistakes. “It’s an incredible trip to be a part of.”
Jolie is an ardent humanitarian, and to demonstrate her unwavering support for Iranian women, who face discrimination in their homeland, she and her daughters sat in solitary with them.
On February 20, 2023, the Academy Award winner posted on Instagram about a new humanitarian art initiative in which women, including her daughters Shiloh and Zahara, cut their hair to help Iranian women.

In her statement, Jolie said that she and her family are helping with the effort, which could mean that she also cut her youngest daughter Vivienne’s hair.
On the social media post, the California native shared photos of her girls getting their hair trimmed. She added a video of every piece of hair used in the display.
Jolie chopped her daughter Zahara’s black hair with scissors and showed off her other daughter Shiloh’s buzz cut in two different images.
Following the haircut, the “The Bone Collector” actress photographed strands of Shiloh and Zahara’s hair.
The caring parent stated that anybody may take part in the initiative and that the exhibition will take place in New York City on March 8, 2023.
When Jolie posted about cutting her girls’ hair and supporting the initiative on Instagram, her followers told her she was wrong.

Others thought that the project might have a secret goal, saying that the procedure, which involves DNA, could be used for bad things.
“This is exactly the theft of mine and your genetic information.” Just don’t be too straightforward. “Our people do not require this level of assistance.” Someone made a comment.
Another commenter called the effort a “biological war against the Iranian people. Shame on you.” “This isn’t support; it’s simply a DNA sample project!” said a third Instagram user, undermining its aim.
Despite the criticism, other admirers supported Jolie’s move, with one social media user thanking her for being an inspiration to speak up for “women’s rights.”
Several of Jolie’s children are still teens, while two have already fled the home with her ex-husband, actor Brad Pitt. She sent off the former couple’s eldest daughter, Zahara, 18, to Spelman College in August 2022.
The delighted mother was shown in a video assisting her child to move into the facility. At the time, she stated, “I’m about to burst into tears.” I have not yet begun to cry. “She was composing herself,” she added.
The college’s president, Dr. Helene Gayle, is said to have told Jolie that she would cry at future college events and joked that such events are meant to make people feel things.
Jolie remarked that she was “keeping it together” and was looking forward to the next day. Darryl Holloman, Spelman’s vice president, asked the Hollywood celebrity how it felt to be a Spelman mom, and she responded that she was overjoyed.
Jolie raved about her daughter on Instagram a month before accompanying her daughter to college, next to a group photo of Zahara and her fellow Spelman students beaming.

She congratulated them on their enrollment and said that the institution was an excellent “place” to be and that she was honored that her child would be a part of it.
Meanwhile, Holloman welcomed the three-time Golden Globe Award winner’s daughter with a video of Jolie and Gayle. “Welcome to campus, Zahara, c’2026!” he wrote alongside his photo.
Jolie and Pitt are the proudest parents imaginable. Shiloh, 16, appears to have a passion for dance and performance, as she released a video of herself dancing. When questioned about the footage during an interview, Pitt replied, “That puts a tear in the eye, absolutely.”
When asked if he was okay with his kids wanting to work in show business, the loving father said that all he wanted was for them to find something that made them happy. “I love it when kids follow their own path, find things that interest them, and thrive.”
